Türkiye University Admissions Procedure
Step 1: Document Evaluation
Submit Required Documents:
For Bachelor’s degree:
- Personal photo.
- Copy of passport.
- Copy of high school diploma with transcript in English.
- English language proficiency certificate (TOEFL or IELTS) if available.
- Email address.
- Parents’ names in English
For Master’s degree:
- Personal photo.
- Copy of passport.
- Copy of bachelor’s degree certificate with transcript in English or Turkish.
- English language proficiency certificate (TOEFL or IELTS) if available.
- Email address.
- Parents’ names in English.
- Optional but supportive documents such as motivation letters, recommendation letters, or CV.
For Ph.D.:
- Personal photo.
- Copy of passport.
- Bachelor’s degree certificate with transcript in English or Turkish.
- Master’s degree certificate with transcript in English or Turkish.
- TOEFL certificate.
- Email address.
- Motivation letter.
- Recommendation letter.
- Curriculum vitae.

Step 2: University Selection and Application
- Budget and Program Consultation: Discuss your budget and desired program with an EdALSA Network advisor.
- Processing Fee: US$ 50 (includes EdALSA Network’s university selection and application assistance).
Step 3: Preliminary Acceptance Review
- Receive Preliminary Acceptance Letters: Universities will issue letters outlining any provisional acceptances, fee structures, and seat reservation procedures.
- Review and Make Decisions: Carefully consider each offer with the help of your EdALSA Network advisor.
Step 4: Final Acceptance
- Fulfill Admission Requirements: Complete any remaining requirements set out by your chosen university. This may include submitting additional paperwork or paying tuition deposits.
- Receive Final Acceptance Letter: The university will send the final acceptance letter directly to your email.
Step 5: Housing Assistance
- Explore Housing Options: EdALSA Network will provide resources and advice on finding suitable student housing options near your university.
Step 6: Visa Application
- Gather Required Documentation: Contact the relevant embassy or consulate of your destination country to determine the specific visa requirements for international students.
- Submit Visa Application: Complete the visa application process, often including submitting supporting documents and attending an interview.
- Receive Visa Decision: Upon approval, your visa will be issued, allowing you to travel for your studies.
